The Background

Veridas is a global biometric identity verification company serving customers across Europe, Latin America and the United States.

Their website is one of the company’s primary lead generation channels. As the business evolved, the marketing team needed a partner who could redesign the experience, improve performance, and safely maintain a complex multilingual WordPress ecosystem.

Beyond the redesign, the project required solving years of accumulated technical debt while keeping the website available for an international sales organization.

The Challenge

Like many growing SaaS companies, Veridas had outgrown its existing website.

The marketing team faced several challenges:

  • Legacy WordPress infrastructure
  • No dedicated internal WordPress developers
  • An outdated design no longer matching the refreshed brand
  • Hidden technical debt inherited from a previous agency

During the engagement, we also uncovered security issues, hidden SEO backlinks and infrastructure problems that were invisible to users but represented long-term business risks.

The Solution

Our Approach

Veridas needed more than a website redesign.

Their marketing website was a critical business asset used across multiple regions and languages, requiring continuous improvements without disrupting day-to-day operations.

We approached the project as a long-term WebOps partnership, combining design, engineering, infrastructure optimization, and ongoing support.

Rather than focusing on isolated tasks, we built a scalable foundation that enables the marketing team to launch new pages faster while maintaining performance, security, and reliability.

Infrastructure & Performance

We began with a complete technical audit of the existing WordPress environment, identifying opportunities to improve performance, modernize the infrastructure, and remove technical debt inherited from previous implementations.

Our work included server optimization, PHP upgrades, database tuning, caching improvements, Cloudflare configuration, CDN optimization, and continuous performance monitoring.

We also introduced proactive uptime monitoring and incident management to ensure issues could be detected and resolved before impacting the business.

UX & Visual Design

Working closely with the Veridas marketing team, we translated their refreshed brand into a modern digital experience. We redesigned the homepage, navigation, footer, and key marketing components in Figma, creating a flexible design system that could be reused across the website while improving consistency and user experience.

WordPress Development

The approved designs were implemented in WordPress using Elementor with a strong focus on maintainability and performance.

We rebuilt priority pages, developed reusable components, optimized front-end performance, and improved the content editing experience, allowing the marketing team to manage pages more efficiently without relying on developers.

Ongoing WebOps

Our engagement didn’t end with the launch.

We continue to support Veridas through ongoing WebOps services, including maintenance, security updates, monitoring, performance optimization, and continuous improvements. This allows the marketing team to focus on campaigns and growth while we ensure the website remains fast, secure, and reliable.

Although the engagement is still ongoing, the project has already delivered significant operational improvements.
